In June 2008, 5 specially-trained COPE Service Dogs were matched with their Life Partners and spent 2 intensive weeks at Training Camp.  On October 18, 2008, after the matches were absolutely solidified, the Life Partner Teams joined COPE staff, volunteers and supporters to celebrate the commencement of their partnerships.  The Graduate Teams received official diplomas and special packs & capes for their Service Dogs.  Puppy Raiser families were also honoured for their part in caring for the new graduate dogs during the 2 years of their training.
