With their generous donation of $10,000, the Rotary Club of Barrie has sponsored a puppy and therefore significantly contributed to C.O.P.E.’s continued success.
Ultimately, this means more youth participants will graduate high school, more challenged elementary students will progress in reading and math, and more elderly people will enjoy therapy visits. And ultimately, more specially trained C.O.P.E. Service Dogs will be available for placement with Life Partners.
This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the great work being done in our community through the partnership of the Rotary Club of Barrie and C.O.P.E. Service Dogs.
Sprocket was introduced during a Rotary meeting on Thursday. Gregg McWatt, left, chairperson of The Rotary Club of Barrie met Sprocket and Debbie Gilbert, right, executive director of C.O.P.E. |
