That’s not a greyhound keeping up with you on Simcoe County’s roads, C.O.P.E. Service Dogs is hitting the road with a van donated by Thor Motors of Orillia.

The vehicle was unveiled on Wednesday night by C.O.P.E.’s founder and program director Jane Boake at the charity’s volunteer appreciation celebration at Tangle Creek Golf Club.

During the course of the evening volunteers discovered they had donated more than 22,000 hours during last year and that out community contributed more than $280,000 of in-kind donations, not counting the donation of the van.
