OVER 1,000 STUDENTS HAVE PARTICIPATED IN COPE’S CANINES IN THE CLASSROOM PROGRAM.

RESEARCH SHOWS THAT CANINES IN THE CLASSROOM STUDENTS IMPROVE GRADES, IMPROVE LEARNING SKILLS AND DECREASE SUSPENSIONS AFTER PARTICIPATION IN CIC.

COPE’S HONORARY PATRON, GEORGE COHON, IS THE FOUNDER OF MCDONALD’S CANADA AND RUSSIA AND RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES CANADA.

COPE IS A MEMBER OF ASSISTANCE DOGS INTERNATIONAL BREEDING COOPERATIVE AND CONTRIBUTES GENES FROM OUR 10 GENERATIONS OF GOLDEN RETRIEVERS AND LABRADOR RETRIEVER CROSSES. THE MATRIARCH AND PATRIARCH WERE BORN AND BRED IN GERMANY.

MISSION

TO PROVIDE A REMARKABLE EDUCATION PROGRAM THAT ENGAGES COMMUNITIES AND EMPOWERS STUDENTS AND OTHERS IN THE TRAINING OF SERVICE DOGS THAT WILL TRANSFORM THE LIVES OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.

It’s time to BUDDY UP! Our largest fundraiser of the year is back, and the COPE dogs are standing by waiting for you🐾These adorable faces are ready to change the future of students facing barriers and people living with mobility disabilities - But they need your help!

Join the COPE community now through June 11th as we #buddyup4cope and raise funds for the Canines in the Classroom program. Then, get ready to join us at our wrap-up event on June 11th with your own four-legged friend for a walk in the park to celebrate your success.
