Sit. Stay. Graduate!

Canines in the Classroom gives high school students facing barriers, an opportunity to learn how to train service dogs. The program, which takes place during the school day, is linked to the Ontario secondary school curriculum. Students can earn high school credits learning essential literacy and workplace skills. Funds raised from Buddy Up 2023 will help COPE continue to deliver this amazing program in our community!

Join Our Foster Team

Our fosters play a very important role. COPE puppies-in-training are placed with Puppy Foster Volunteers from the time they are 7-8 weeks old, until they are matched with their life partner, or move on to do their life’s work (approximately 2 years).

Fostering a COPE dog is a life changing opportunity and we’re looking for some new volunteers to join our incredible team of fosters.
